What struck me most about Veggiesaurus and the people behind it is their passion for all things related to food – they aren’t just providing a service where a certain number of items on a plate are delivered to your table at a certain time. A lot of care and attention has been invested into their product – be it the dishes they’ve prepared as a part of the Food Box or a catering assignment they’ve taken up. They’re willing to take chances, to experiment with seemingly simple things and arrive at wildly exciting flavours, all the while sticking to their fundamentals. What you have in the end is food that appears to be simple and fuss-free, but with a certain depth and intricacy that will blow your socks off. Simply put, Veggiesaurus = Fresh Food That Packs A Punch.

Dipping into a variety of cuisines, traditional and contemporary, they create food that is distinctly their own. I would recognize those delicious sandwiches and dishes anywhere.

This food is made with love and imagination. They produce simple or complex dishes using the freshest, purest ingredients, follow tradition and create their own, are not afraid to blend and experiment in search of the perfect meal. The results are always very delicious. I am definitely a satisfied customer!

The theme of the New Years’ Reception at the largest temple in the Netherlands, was “healthy lifestyle, healthy food”. We partnered up with Veggieaurus for a healthy buffet for our members and guests. The buffet consisted out of a healthy vegetables (peas, cauliflower, spinach, paneer) and delicious dal, prepared in a conscious yet tasty way. The team of VeggieSaurus helped with the preparation, setting out the buffet, food serving and cleaning up; it was a total catering package! Our members were very happy with the buffet and we received many compliments.

Veggiesaurus pleasantly surprised FMO’s 250 employees in November, when the team prepared an all-Indian traditional Divali Lunch. Divali is the Hindu festival for peace and harmony. It was the first time that Divali was celebrated at the Dutch development bank in The Hague.
As starters, the team prepared stuffed roasted zucchini and tasty pastries filled with potatoes and cashew, complimented with homemade coriander chutney. The light tomato soup and spicy lentil soup were a wonderful opening to the exhilarating rice dishes. The palak paneer and mixed vegetables gave us the feeling that we were having a lunch in the middle of Delhi. The sweet gulab jamuns which melted on our tongues, with rice pudding and pistachio’s, were a great way to end the lunch.
The set-up of the lunch was a great way to promote Divali. And VeggieSaurus was a great partner to work with, professional & practical. FMO’s employees are already looking forward to next years’ Divali lunch!
